DR. MINA SUN, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Mina Sun earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Virginia and her Doctorate of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in California and her fellowship at NYU.
 
Dr. Sun is bilingual. She enjoys forming close relationships with her patients and believes a deep appreciation of each patient's value system and goals is key to providing effective care. 
 
Dr. Sun has a particular interest in diagnosing diseases, especially as it relates to cardiovascular disease, metabolic disease, and mental health.

In her spare time, Dr. Sun volunteers at her husband's dementia care units, providing primary care services for elders with dementia behaviors inadmissible in either nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
